Deadly Tangle Clothing & Accessories

There's still a couple of hours left for the poll but already I'm calling it - it looks like the deadly fish sticker is a clear winner so I'll get going with the drawing! I'm hoping to have a couple of different designs for you to choose from.

We're both rocking the ocean theme - Abi's project is Warped Oceans 2 - and I was delighted when Abi agreed to partner with me. This is the sticker you'll receive from me - it's a Holographic Cone Snail Sticker. This deadly textile cone snail hunts its prey with a harpoon! I warped its shell with the disulphide bond structures in its lethal toxins.

We're into day 3 of Beasts & Botanicals now and I hope you've had a chance to check out all of the other fantastic campaigns!

Deadly Tangle has been so successful already that my backer count is already twice what I've seen for my other campaigns! I think we should celebrate!

Well, amazing news - we reached our first stretch goal!!! This is an absolute first for me and I think I lost yesterday to being in shock!!

The Sea Wasp guitar picks (Jelly Picks) are now unlocked! Fantastic news for all you guitar and mandolin players!! (Happy to hear about any other instruments you might use these for in the comments - banjo? Ukulele?!)

We now have the next Tangle Tee t-shirt on the horizon to unlock at £ 1200. If you kept an eye on the t-shirt design poll, you'll have noticed that the Giant Siphonophore and the Mauve Stinger actually received the same number of votes. We could only have one unlocked at the start so I opted for the Giant Siphonophore. Thankfully, not too far to go to unlock the Mauve Stinger!



Sadly, the t-shirt printing isn't glow-in-the-dark or fluorescent. BUT for a bit extra I will hand paint glow-in-the-dark highlights for you! Each t-shirt will be unique! This paint comes in different colours and does glow in the dark normally, although it glows even brighter under UV light!

Here's me at UV night wearing a top I hand painted with these same UV fabric paints, with a bacteria design - of course!!

Only two more sleeps til launch day! The campaign's all ready to go, we just need to decide which one Tangle Tee t-shirt should be unlocked at the start of the campaign... It's a difficult decision - I quite like all of them!

- Mauve Stinger (Pelagia noctiluca)
- Common Irukandji (Carukia barnesi)
- Atolla Jellyfish (Atolla wyvillei)
